Nestled amidst majestic mountains, cherry blossoms, and diverse forests, our retreat lies adjacent to the renowned Tairawan Wild Creek Hot Spring and the turbid waters of Dusi Creek. Rich in minerals, our hot springs boast the highest Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) content among Taiwan's carbonate hydrogen hot springs, owing to their proximity to the Lushan geothermal layer. Varying water levels throughout the seasons create different rock strata interactions, akin to Japan's Kurokawa Hot Springs, offering distinct water qualities in the same area.
Offering both clear and turbid "nigori-yu" hot spring options, our establishment embraces the therapeutic benefits of turbid waters, preferred by many, especially the elderly, for their warmth and efficacy in relieving numbness, neuralgia, and muscular pains. The reddish hue of the turbid water stems from oxidized minerals, particularly iron, which aids in relaxation and pain relief after soaking.
Our accommodations often feature hues reminiscent of Japan's famous Beppu Hell's red springs or the golden waters of the Arima Hot Springs, among others. Situated a convenient 9 kilometers from Qingjing Farm, our location offers tranquility within a 15 to 20-minute drive from the nearest convenience store in Wushe. However, please note that the final stretch involves a 1.5-kilometer winding asphalt road. Although accessible to large vehicles, we advise against booking for those uncomfortable with challenging driving conditions.
Embracing the concept of "gensen kakenagasi," our hot springs utilize direct water from the source, avoiding the re-circulation typical of most hotels. We refrain from artificial additives or extensive filtration, preserving the purity and efficacy of our natural springs. The temperature of our cold water may approach 30 degrees Celsius in winter, while our hot springs typically exceed 55 degrees Celsius.
For those inclined to treat our hot springs as swimming pools or mix different waters, we recommend seeking alternative accommodations, as such practices diminish the therapeutic properties and affect the removal of free radicals. We prioritize the serenity and authenticity of our hot springs experience.
